The Cardoner Project
The Cardoner Project is designed for young graduates of Jesuit schools in Australia. It includes immersions, fundraising, retreats, short and long-term volunteer placements overseas, and outreach to socially excluded groups in Australia. The Project actively seeks out partnerships with other Jesuit ministries to make these things happen . This is an exciting opportunity to assist our graduates to deepen their commitment to the ongoing mission of the Society of Jesus and the Church in Australia.
During his early pilgrim years, Saint Ignatius received a powerful mystical vision on the banks of the Cardoner River near Manresa, Spain. Setting him on his path with greater clarity, Ignatius often referred to the experience in later life when seeking God's guidance for the Society.
