The Cardoner Project

The Cardoner Project is a not-for-profit, student-focused hub for volunteering; offering assistance to disadvantaged communities both locally and abroad. With a mission to deepen human, spiritual and intellectual formation, young men and women involved with the Project are grounded in a love of the poor and a desire for social justice.

Since being established in 2010, The Cardoner Project has grown rapidly, seeing over 300 young volunteers give their time and energy to work in impoverished communities around the world – whether it be for 2-3 weeks on an Immersion, or for a year on a Service Year placement. The Project also participates in local initiatives, where volunteers regularly give their time to support partner organisations around Sydney in meeting their own development goals.

The next step in our story of growth is The Two Wolves: Community Cantina - our volunteer driven, social enterprise eatery & bar. Opened in September 2015, it is a social hub for young people to enjoy good food, find community and share meaning.
